i find it hard to believe they are looking for an entirely new fanbase. Bungie is done making Halo games, that's obvious. but it would be ridiculous to say they're abandoning Halo fans. Destiny is a shooter, like Halo. it feels very much like Halo in terms of basic mechanics. are you telling me they're trying to find a new fanbase, apart from all Halo fans, by making another shooter that feels very familiar to Halo fans? if they're 'dating new people', it sounds a bit like they're suiting us with the engagement ring from their first marriage...
