Is there any chance that the DLC is going to fix the issue with raid drops? It's way too random. The only way to get to 30 is with raid gear but you can play through it as many times as you like and you're still not guaranteed to get raid gear. How can this be? Am I destined to be lvl 29 forever, purely because I haven't been lucky enough to get the gear I need.
I play regularly with a bunch of friends, some have got a few pieces, but one of them, the one that plays most and is always at the top of the kills list, doesn't have any. How is that fair?!

This is happening to many in my clan. And many i know besides. It sux our clan even made new avys to try for better rng & so they can run it on all the same class to try & get gear. In my case my rng is good. But is frustrating to watch my friends get let down so many times. I wish we could roll for needed items or at least trade within clan & friends at end of missions. My bf & other clan mates play vog weekly & he is always on top yet has yet to complete his raid set!? Yet ppl he helps out by even carrying at times doing the vog have sets. How is that fair? Hes now decided he may not wanna play Destiny any more as he doesn't find it fun anymore😒 I told him take a break & hopefully Bungie will hear the community & fix this soon.😕 AND btw imo Dlc should NOT be a solve for this issue lol

It's just like pvp. You can be bottom of the scoreboard and you can get an exotic. It's the broken RNG, you gotta be lucky.

Don't think rng can be broken because then it wouldn't be rng

It's broken alright. Or maybe just real out of tune. Guys can get not one kill and get an exotic because of this "not broken rng"

Well rng is rng so 1 kill and reward or something 100 kills and reward it doesn't matter. thing is who cares if a shitty person gets something in PVP if your trying to get gear there are many other faster ways to get it

So you're telling me, you can do the raid 7 times and not get the raid gear you need out of those 7 times and call the rng "fine?"

Yep at least when you do get it you will have plenty of shards

Would much prefer lvl 30 be something you EARN than something you get through luck. Yes, the raid is hard, it takes a certain level of skill to complete, but it's LUCK that gets you to lvl 30.

Raid is pretty easy, on hard more it's a tad more challenging but still nothing too extreme with the next iron banner they are putting in 30 gear so you can hit 30 that way too
