I want to chime in here. I believe that Destiny has the potential for becoming an epic franchise, however I do think that Bungie devs do need to take some of the ideas and complaints logged in these forums to heart if they want that to become a reality. Lack of PvE story content and repetitive gameplay does lead to boredom, even for casual players. I love the idea of having weekly events that pit the enemies of the city against an open field of guardians on earth or other planets, such as an invasion or uprising. I would like to see more strikes and raids and have elements of variability thrown in at harder modes. More PvP modes would be nice like a big team (12v12) battle or actually get to use and upgrade our ships! These are just some of my thoughts on the long term future of the game. I am undecided on buying the DLC right away.
