It isn't supposed to be a stupid shooter, it was billed as an MMO. If you want to compare Destiny DLC to an MMO expansion, compare this to a WoW expansion. Much more accurate, and much more telling.
If I wanted to play a stupid shooter, I would have bought CoD.

They never billed it as an MMO. That was the community's brand. This is not an MMO by a long shot

If you didn't want to play a shooter, then you shouldn't have bought Destiny. Bungie always said "this is not an MMO, it's a Shared-World Shooter". Sounds like you didn't do any research into this game before you bought it and thus, deserve to be disappointed.

Thank u for saying sir, apparently it's not said enough somehow, because bungie must've said like 10-15 times in their own stuff, in addition to like EVERY interview "this is NOT an MMO, this is primarily an FPS action game, with ELEMENTS that MMO/RPG players will be familiar with" ...sigh
