Are you not including a monthly fee to play most MMO's which is around $10-$15? With WOW and FFXIV you buy the game, the expansions and pay $15/mo to play. What "good" MMO are you referring to again?

Final fantasy 11 is 12 bucks per month, but there is so much to do on there. I played it for 10 years. Never bored. Always something to do. Relic, mythic, emper. Weapons takes months to get. You can easily separate hardcore players from causal players in ff11. That 12 bucks per month was worth it. Destiny offer no long term goals at all. A person who only play for one whole day can have better gears/weapons than person who played for 2 months so far.

So what you're saying is that you want the se experience from Destiny, at $100, that you got from 10 years of FFXI, at over $1500 (includes game purchase, expansion purchase, and monthly subscription). You're impossible

Give me something that will make me proud of my hunter. Something that will show for my hard work. Something that will make new players look at my hunter and be like, "he put in some serious work into that hunter" Something that a causal player can't achieve easily. Gears/weapons that would take months to get. And not be shoot down by 3 sniper shot from a lvl 6 fallen.

I can understand that. Even call of duty has emblems that show hard earned achievements. I will say that most of the best gear is simply a matter of getting by luck. I'm trying to get a full set of raid gear. I've completed the Vault of Glass four times and still only have the raid boots. Kinda sucks from that angle

Lol. I just need raid boots. Making another character to do raid again this week. But still, it just piss me off that I put in all those hours to become legendary, then be sniped down by 3 shots from a lvl 6 fallen as if I'm some common house fly. I should be able to walk through a pack of low level fallen without worrying about getting kill.
