This, along with random selection in the raid, solidifies my decision to trade in for the Halo MCC.

I'm getting both, and any expansion or dlc that comes out, I'm not going to waste any breath or sweat in making longer comments than this one, I love this game, I bought a shooter with rpg elements. I don't feel cheated, I don't feel betrayed, I have loved every minute of this game. The beta was amazing! I would have thrown 60$ to have kept it open. Call me fan boy, I love bungie. They have been an integral part of my gaming youth. Now I'm grown and I choose what I spend my money on... I crave more, as any gamer would but in all honesty, it's coming... All of it over the next ten years give or take a few months. And I hope it goes longer than that... I'm sorry some of you didn't get what you feel you were promised but seriously, what were you expecting? Full game... Well hell I spent almost 60 hours in beta, nearly quadrupled that time in the game I purchased. I play the same game as many xbox players but for some reason I feel fulfilled, I guess I'm not hard to please... I wish they had in game content for micro transactions, I would pay for all of it, dlc bring it, special packages, done... Vanity gear???? Holy crap I want it too! It makes the world go round guys and gals... If you don't want to play the game anymore trade it for something you will enjoy, I hate reading the same comment over and over and over again... The ninjas are slacking this go around... In fact my only gripe with the game is that 90% of the people that "hate this game" still play it... Go somewhere else, so you can blow up their forums and leave ours alone... Bad comments incoming, and guess what? I'm not afraid of anything any of you have to say to me, cause I'm a big boy and I can take it. Thanks to all for reading if you took the time, had to rant and whine like everyone else lol Enjoy your freedom of speech on the Internet lol

So you want to trade this game in and buy a new game from the same company... Are you stupid? Do not reward them for this game advertised to basically be the best game in the history of gaming, when it turrned out to be this crap (by crap I mean, not even coming close to the advertisement hype) by buying a new game from them. That is like inviting the guy that just mugged you back into your house.

Well if you don't think bungie has it's money hungry claws holding on to it, then you have a different perspective of business than I do. (I manage a $5 million a year business.) Someone in the "ivory tower" is still in control of, and overseeing, in some way, that game. Whether it be a 49% ownership, or the same management staff, or several other ways to have control of the game without publicly being the owner.

I know Microsoft bought the rights to Halo back when they purchased Bungie. I highly doubt they have any stake in the game. If they do Oh well. If a game is good why not buy it? Shoe that that's the kind of game you want to play.

Halo is Microsoft's IP now. Bungie has severed ties with it.

I had no qualms with this game until they started "fixing" everything that made it fun. I know what halo is and it isn't like they can add a dlc tag to it anymore. 20 bucks is just too steep for what I will get in return as an XB1 owner.

To be honest the random selection makes it a bit more fun and it's still just as easy. At least on normal mode. I get that people love having a set up strategy and a role for their own to follow, as to not worry about anything else, because I've done that. After a few times though I got bored of being on the outside defending portals, but now I get a chance to either tear down oracles or -blam!- shit up with a relic and actually learn the role in case I need to use it.

I just feel randomizing it makes strategy useless. It becomes a scramble to who grabs the relic or kills the ads. We only do hard raids now since it drops double hard rewards. No point I'm doing the normal one.

Yeah it does throw the strategy away at the Aetheon fight. I was just getting at that, for me, it's kind of fun to take a stab at other the roles. Everyone's got a 50:50 chance of teleporting so we assign three people for relic duty in the final stage of Aetheon. Haven't tried it on hard mode yet, although I was randomly invited to one, and joined as they beat him. Got the sparrow, Mytho, and Vision rifle. That was cool. I plan on trying Hard mode soon though.
