Maybe ive missed the point, but some of the whinging seems really dumb.
sony paid bungie/activision money so playstation got extra content. Dlc was advertised before game was released, ie season pass in limited editions. Descriptions made it clear some content would not be coming to xbox anytime soon. So wheres the issue.
If you bought xbox you knew you were gonna get short changed.
Same as if you bought it at hmv you didnt get the GAME sparrow.
As regards price vs cod map packs price seems reasonable. But again you made ur choices on first purchase. Regular game £45, limited edition £75. So thats £30 extra. Like anything if you buy it later and piecemeal it costs more. Six pack of crisps £1. Or 55p single pack. (Ps4 ltd edition owner.) With regards to us $ price guess im just used to being screwed over on that. Tho someone normally chimes up with a comment on local US taxes vs Vat being the bulk of the difference. As in uk price is what you pay in US the tax is on top

And personally I don't care about the price. I would pay the same thing every month for the same amount of content. I've played each strike 20 times, and each story mission the same amount. We need content.

Agree content is light on both consoles. Or that its a fairly shitty deal, but as it was clear from the media coverage etc that xbox were gonna get a raw deal; advertising highlighted quite clearly exclusive till fall 2015. Guessing sonys money people negotiated a fairly tight deal. Inc no xbox promotional ads. Personally if od bought an xbox id have held off on destiny until next year for that reason. Plus the price drop that would accompany it. As others have made the choice to purchase now, dont feel they should moan about it. In fact by buying the game with a one year delay its encouraging\ rewarding the games maker for this practice. The message being yea I know I got screwed but heres my money anyway. Rather than full game next year, guess thata when you get my cash then.

Advertised as 'timed exclusives' similar to xbox receiving COD maps first, Which then are released to PS... 1 month later. 1 month is a little different then 1 year. There are only 5 strikes on xbox, PS already has an extra one. Now we pay the same amount for DLC that gives PS 8 strikes while we will have 6. It's pretty lame, man. You cant honestly say you had any idea what the content was going to be prior to launch, it actually looked like it was going to be guns and armor, and if there was 10 strikes to begin with, then 1 for Playstation wouldn't matter, but when we are the same 5 strikes over and over, it's painful. You just happen to be on the good end of a shitty deal, it doesn't make the deal any less shitty.
