Does that mean that the new raid armor is going to being better than exotic armor because that would be bs

The next raid tier is going to give more light + defense than current raid armor and exotics. They will probably make new exotics that have a higher light level, but I doubt that the ones you currently have will be updated. I don't see a minimum level anywhere for the new raid, but I imagine the new raid will be 28-29 for easy mode. This means you won't have to run both raids if you don't want to.

Exotic and raid should give you level 30 otherwise why call it exotic

But the new level cap is suppose to be 32 so they would have to raise the light level right?

Logicaly yes but in bungie language "oh no that make the game fun we need it to be boring and pvp focused cus thats what everybody wants"
