I don't care. I'm still gonna buy the expansion because I chose what I spend my money on. Plus Destiny has become my favorite game so far. I don't have any problems with it. If you really want to hurt Activision, who is the mastermind of this scheme, don't buy Advanced Warfare. Oh but wait, people are still going to buy it. You effort is worth a try, but I believe it wouldn't last. Not many gamers would join you. You want to know why. All gamers want to do is play games and by doing that wouldn't you delay the release of almost all games. I can see how COD is being dumbed down, but not Destiny because it's only the first installment to the series. Yes, Destiny is going to be a series. You should wait to see how Destiny 2 turns out to be before you do anything stupid.

Edited by bill0517: 10/31/2014 2:45:14 AMIf you want to buy it go ahead. I'm not urging anyone not to, I'm urging them to think about what the industry is becoming. Gaming used to be a niche market 10-20 years ago where games were made by gamers so there was always a push for greater quality. Now gaming is a multibillion dollar industry and games are made by enormous corporations. Look at what bungie did with halo, with far less resources than they had for destiny. Halo blew us away! Everything about it was new and exciting. It push our expectations for what games can be to greater heights, and did so without selling us half the game for more money over the course of a year after initial release. Halo FELT good to play. Destiny however Feels incomplete and forced. If you think destiny hasn't been dumbed down you haven't played many solid mmos or RPGs. Why do think there is no in-game economy? Why are the missions and bounties the same simple tasks over and over again? Why is gear randomly awarded? This is all to allow inexperienced, casual and younger gamers to feel like they are good at the game when the reality is the game is so dumbed down that anyone can be good at it.

Hey man, when I get into the business in like 8 and a half years. You won't have to worry. I want to go into the business and one thing that i focus a lot on is story and diversity. I'm just saying that you should build your opinion on Destiny when the 2nd game for it is out because Bungie did say they made the story cryptic intentionally and if you listen to what dregs say, you'll here them calling you the dark just like in Halo where grunts would call you a demon. Bungie is trolling us pretty hard, but you just have to have the patience for it. Sure I admit that the game lacks diversity in terms of bounties, but I still enjoy playing the game. Plus if content was truly taken out before launch, we would never know, it was most likely Activisions idea. Activision and Bungie had a deal that if the game got good reviews, which it didnt but i'll explain that later, Bungie would have to pay Activision a fortune. Activision tricked Bungie to take out content so that Bungie would get worst reviews than it should which in turn would force Bungie to pay Activision a pile of cash. That sounds like something Activision would do, you remember Infinity Ward. Reviews for games by companies have become unreliable lately. They give the reviewer one day to make a review and that isn't enough time. The reviewer has other things to do not just play a bit of the game and wright a page long review on it. What i'm saying isn't bs. I saw this in a video by inside gaming. The reviewer is stressed out right. So he gives the game a bad review because he rushed through it. Anyway, Activision is screwing us all, Bungie is a victim too, and you should look forward to seeing me present an award winning game in the future at E3.

Edited by bill0517: 10/31/2014 3:12:00 AMI wish you the best of luck in all of your future endeavors in pursuing a career in the industry. I don't have a thorough and detailed knowledge of any of the agreements between bungie and activision so I cannot comment on the validity of anything you said in the area. But if any of the things you said concerning bungie and activision are true that only supports my argument that corporate greed and politics got in the way of the quality of the game. I have no intention of waiting for a dlc or the second installment of the series for a quality gaming experience. We shouldn't have to wait. We didn't have to wait for a dlc or halo 2 for the story in the original Halo to make sense. This is just a further marketing ploy designed to suck more money out of ours pockets through sub par products.

Thank you and I guess we just have two different opinions.
