FPS does not mean PvP. Duke Nukem was an FPS. There was no PvP. DOOM, AVP, Borderlands, Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (optional FP),etc...(Its a very looooooooong list) There have been a ton of FPS games that had no PvP element.
