Um what? Wow, is this your first time purchasing anything that is international? There is no exchange rate on this, its based on your currency/economy. Think about it, you get paid in pounds not dollars, why do you think you get to shop in dollars? Didn't you notice cars, movies, games and hell even your xbox/playstation are the same price in pounds as ours are in dollars?

I understand a playstation 4 costs around 40,000 Yen in Japan. If sony pulled the same trick and applied a ¥1 = $1 conversion rate, you would be paying $40,000 for a PS4 and you wouldn't then be suggesting that things should be priced the same in every currency

What you on about! Xbox is about 100$ more than pounds. About $449 at the moment while it's £329 with a game in the UK. Are you an idiot? You pay the equivalent price(probably still more but not 1:1) at exchange.
