Yea cause the people were just a-hurtin' themselves to play some Marathon... Microsoft provided Bungie with a platform to reach MILLIONS of gamers they wouldnt have otherwise due to an oversaturated PC game market. The xbox's engine was created specifically with Bungie in mind as they were given full access to its hardware way before it hit the market or any other developers even knew what it was. They may as well have called it the Bungie Box.

Edited by landgin: 10/31/2014 10:09:51 AMYou are aware it was built and released on a PC right? Master race wins again. :p It was a good coop. Back when exclusive matteres

Edited by OHIMGONEGETCHA: 10/31/2014 10:20:24 AMYou are aware that I was being sarcastic about Marathon and that I implied it was for pc right? You do know the topic we're discussing, Destiny, has nothing to do with pc right? Why even.... Nevermind...

Sarcasm brother

My bad. Thought you were being a smartass.

No worries man. Bungie and Xbox built each other. I bought an Xbox just for halo back in the day.

Edited by OHIMGONEGETCHA: 10/31/2014 10:43:37 AMI hear ya. I just think if Bungie had never gone to xbox, that they would of just gotten overlooked. The proof? Halo didn't sell on pc nearly as much as it did on Xbox. 2 reasons: PCs are more expensive and the game market is oversaturated. At the time Xbox had the best hardware of that generation of consoles.

I remember that first Xbox. It weighed about the same as a small house and the Controller was about the size of football.

Lol damn right and I worshipped that thing.
