I think you got a solid idea of what's up here but I don't think Rasputin took out humanity seems to be to much alien activity around us in the aftermath plus I think the "darkness" is a opposite of the traveler seems fitting seeing how the traveler has been crippled/ dying such a being probably needs a very powerful foe seeing how it still some how protects the city/ tower of the last humans. Does he have a shield over us?

  • The darkness (like the traveler)could have had an army which would be the invading armada of aliens which wiped us out...which would explain why there are so many aliens here. I belive that the hive arrived first. Which after sing the dlc multi maps...it makes sense because skyshock the defense array is taken over by hive.

  • I think the fallen had it first and as you are taking the array the hive try's to take it as well pretty sure. I think the fallen is the lowest of the low for them like a disposable army of pawns and scavengers.

  • Not just pawns. They hate the darkness to. Read Ghost Fragment: Fallen talks about a Baron killing hive, and also, if you see the mission where you meet the Queen her fallen are Blue. They belong to the House of Winter. In absence of a Kel or Prime Servitor the Fallen seek any leadership. This makes me think that they are not inherently evil. What makes sense is that the servitors are made by the darkness and they took over the fallen from within, thats why they are the only Fallen enemy with Void.

  • Read the House of Winter Grimoire card, Go to Enemies/Fallen and the picture on the card is a blue vandal/ Dreg. Check out the scene when you first meet the Queens fallen, they are also Blue Vandals, and we have been told that the colors are unique to each house.

  • Don't know where they struck first or how but they all seem to hate each other also maybe fighting for supremacy in the dark ranks why else would they fight each other, not sure on this there's a lot of ways this can play out but one things for sure non of them seem to be buddies which is a lil strange.
