No, they won't.
No, it hasn't.
Bungie signed something called a contract with Sony.
If they did that they would be violating the contract.
The result could be anything from a lawsuit that makes Bungie bankrupt to Sony gaining the rights of Destiny and no Xbox player being able to ever play it.

Contracts can be re-negotiated. It has happened before.

Like a place who had the most amazing marketing campaign that people still think the game is an exclusive would renegotiate a contract? Sony has Bungie by the balls with Destiny and they won't let go until that contract runs out. Most likely it also doesn't run out until the same time as their "10 yea plan" for Destiny.

Microsoft will do fine. All the exclusive content will be is a few weapons and a single strike I think. I know all the base game got was a weapon or two, a strike, and a PvP map or two.
