This isn't complicated. If a game continues to engage me, I buy the DLC. I don't care what's been cut. Destiny stopped engaging me a week and a half ago. I don't care about the game anymore. I have five friends who play, and all we have left is the raid. Further raids will probably be at a higher level, and there's no way I intend to grind through more loot just to do them. This is even more of a soul-crushing gameplay mechanic than collectibles. So, I'm moving on after I finish this one.
For everyone who likes this sort of game, I'm happy for you. I really am. It's just not for me. Not even close.

I can solo must every heroic story with my eyes closed. Except for the nrxus mission, i can solo every weekly strike (the only reason i cant is because the nexus mind is such a bullet sponge i run out of bullets) why do you think 3 mission is going to keep me engaged? This dkc will likely take me 3hours to beat. How is this supposed to keep me busy and coming back to the game?

It won't. The only people who are going to get anything out of DLC are the mindless drones who just keep grinding through those same pathetic patrols, doing repetitive bounties, and collecting upgrade material. It creates an illusion that there's something interesting going on in the game. It baffles me that, for such a wonderful start, Destiny has ended up like this.
