Through the muddle of complaints (or whining, etc) there are some well expressed thoughts that are justified and should not necessarily be ignored. Just keep in mind that some people (and nobody knows the percentage whether it is the majority or minority) had alot of high expectations of the game (following this concept of the game for 2 years) and rightfully are disappointed knowing the potential that this game has to offer. The lack of content is disappointing and knowing that someone has to pay additional monies to somewhat compensate for the initial release content can be frustrating as well as aggravating. The money is not the true concern but the fact they as the consumer feels cheated and therefore want to voice their frustration via the forums. Again, I'm not sure if this is what I would call a great game (even though you agree that it is a great game) but for me it's not bad and can be enjoyable at times. But like you, I have already paid for my DLC and hopefully Bungie will have some improvements with the amount of content that they are adding (which appears to be not that much). If it disappoints.....Oh well :-(
