I've had this game since release and have had a decent time playing it however it gets VERY repetitive and sometimes boring and grindy. However since this game has came out it feels like you guys have some sort of grudge against Xbox players. So I will go down a list of reasons why I think you hate us. If no answer is given then I will simply assume that all I say is true untill told otherwise.
Bungie started on Xbox/PC with Halo it has been an exclusive since then. The only reason Bungie has seen so much success is because of their Xbox fans. Which begs the question why do you hate the people that supported you and helped you grow into what you are?
1. Destiny is not only on both consoles (which is fair I like that everyone gets a chance to play) but it is a timed exclusive for PS4... WHY? Xbox is the reason Bungie has its reputation. Why not give back to the people who helped you for 10 years, or at least put them on equal grounds with competitors.
2. Exclusive gear for PS4. Why isnt my money worth the same as a Playstation users money? Why am I being punished for not forking out $400 for a PS4?
3. Extra content in DLC. Again why isnt my $35 enough for you why should I have to pay the same amount for DLC and get LESS content. WTF!!! That is stupid if you are going to release exclusive content make them at least pay $1 on it. Apparently $35 from a PS user is far more valuable than an Xbox user. Again WHYYYY!!!!
4. Bungie bounties, there has only been 1 on Xbox one. Why? Last week you said "Xbox players dont worry we havent forgotten about you.." And today another PS4 bounty. WTF! Thats like what 6 already and Xbox only has 1. Nice.
What was the point of releasing on Xbox if you only want to make content available on PlayStation. Why not just make it an exclusive. Hmmm OH I KNOW WHY. Because you wanted to take advantage of all your loyal xbox followers while you could just so you could give us a giant middle finger and laugh because you already have our money. You sicken me. I will NEVER buy another Bungie game if this bullshit keeps up. I've been a fan for 10 -blam!-ing years! Your playstation fans have been fans for maybe a year! I even switched from playstation to xbox for bungie and halo! Why do you hate me for that!

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the extra content that Playstation users are getting a timed exclusive? Didn't Xbox have a timed exclusive on other titles? Don't they still have the timed exclusive on CoD dlc? I don't think that extra content in the Playstation is even a thing that change your experience with Destiny. Sony obviously forked over a big pile of money or something of that nature to get that exclusive. You are still going to get the same DLC. Small portions of it will just be exclusive to Playstation for awhile. At least there isn't a timed exclusive in the upcoming raid. The amount of content seems fair for the price in this day and age. Considering map packs or CoD used to cost 14.99 or something like that (dunno if they still charge that amount cause I don't buy them anymore). There are also more additions coming with the DLC that will expand what we already do in the game. There are many games that come with DLC in the same or similar price range. The content is fair. Even if you do not buy the dlc you will still get access to new weapons, armor, bounties, etc. Just not the full amount of extras as the DLC. So waiting until the DLC releases and has been out for awhile isn't even a bad idea.

Pretty sure the cod content gets released for all platforms after a month.

Edited by sidewalkbliss: 11/1/2014 10:13:27 PMI think you are right. CoD isn't the only game to utilized time exclusives though. Skyrim DLC was also a timed exclusive to xbox. It just seems like Bungie/Sony are using a different method. Instead of having a short timed exclusive on the entire DLC, they are holding back small portions of content for a longer period. Not saying it is the right thing to do. It's just their strategy. I don't know if this has been done before so only time will tell if it makes a major impact on sales.

I think bungee is one of the reasons xbox has its reputation, not the other way round. If bungee had originally worked for playstation, halo wouldn't have been any different. There's not much difference between xbox and playstation these days anyway. I'm an xbone owner just so you know.
-
Think of it this way, Bungie has located itself for 10-11 years on the Xbox. Now when they introduce a new game, but it being a cross platform with Xbox and Playstation. They haven't had much rep with the PSN side, so they probably thought that giving extra for PSN members would allure a lot more people towards Destiny. Now with Xbox being left out, I'm not seeing the issues. You should be Bungie's biggest fans, so some couple of in game weapons you have shouldn't challenge that loyalty towards them.

Halo is big enough that even if you didn't play it because of your personal system choice, you know what it is. It's more than likely that the majority of people on these forums have probably played it before even if they are PlayStation owners. Saying that Bungie doesn't have as much rep for the PSN side doesn't hold a lot of water. Oni, a game made by Bungie was only for the PS2 console (console, because I know it was also on the PC). Xbox players aren't feeling left out, many, not all, are feeling shunned because of some apparent bad blood between Bungie and Microsoft that does nothing but damage one of their user bases.
-
And without Microsoft, Bungie would be probably forgotten today so its hard to understand why Bungie is abandon MS and their Fans so much. I LOVED Bungie, but now...Destiny is far far away from a Memorable experience. Halo still is and ever will be. So Bungie is replaced for me by 343 Industries
-
Okay, it's like you were beginning with how "Bungie Abandoned Microsoft", but then you started going on about how Destiny isn't memorable enough. First of all, if Bungie were to actually abandon Microsoft. Then why would they keep Destiny on the Xbox?
-
Hello.... less content on Xbox? Thats what I call Abandon and it keeps going with this DLC
-
one strike less. oh no!
-
Realy REALY did you not here them say at E3 that the best experience would be ps4... So I'm gonna pick it up for Xbox and bitch! No it's on you!
-
bungie, activision don't care about who got them where they are, they care about who's going to give them the most money, you're crying about an extra strike and gear claiming that you're getting punished but like I said before, play station users didn't get to play halo and xbox get the cod dlc a month earlier than xbox, that's not exactly fair but at least we don't cry about it.
-
To be fair, when the one month exclusive on DLC was first introduced. Playstation users did exactly what xbox users are doing now. It's just gone on for so long now that most of the whining dropped to a minimum.
-
and you can't report me for telling the truth too
-
you're moaning about how xbox people are disadvantaged because they don't get as many bounties and the ps4 gear, but you have to REMBER that play station users didn't even get to play arguably the best game in history: halo.
-
Did Playstation users pay the same amount for Halo as Xbox users did? Are Xbox users having to pay the same amount as Playstation users for less content in the DLC? That is the point here. If I get less content on the Xbox One, fine, but less content for the same price - that's wrong.
-
play station users didn't get to play halo! that's more unfair than paying the same amount for like 1 less strike and 2 less bits of gear!

Edited by Brookerooarr: 11/1/2014 12:54:39 PMIt was a rhetorical question. If you went to the cinema with a friend and the guy in the ticket booth said your friend can watch the whole film for a fiver, but you had to leave 20 minutes from the end, but could come back in a years time to watch those 20 minutes, would you do it? It's not about the amount of content absent, or where it sits on the 'unfair' scale, Xbox users are essentially being asked to pay the same amount for an inferior version of the same product than Playstation users. It's that simple.
