Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the extra content that Playstation users are getting a timed exclusive? Didn't Xbox have a timed exclusive on other titles? Don't they still have the timed exclusive on CoD dlc? I don't think that extra content in the Playstation is even a thing that change your experience with Destiny. Sony obviously forked over a big pile of money or something of that nature to get that exclusive. You are still going to get the same DLC. Small portions of it will just be exclusive to Playstation for awhile. At least there isn't a timed exclusive in the upcoming raid. The amount of content seems fair for the price in this day and age. Considering map packs or CoD used to cost 14.99 or something like that (dunno if they still charge that amount cause I don't buy them anymore). There are also more additions coming with the DLC that will expand what we already do in the game. There are many games that come with DLC in the same or similar price range. The content is fair. Even if you do not buy the dlc you will still get access to new weapons, armor, bounties, etc. Just not the full amount of extras as the DLC. So waiting until the DLC releases and has been out for awhile isn't even a bad idea.

  • Pretty sure the cod content gets released for all platforms after a month.

I think you are right. CoD isn't the only game to utilized time exclusives though. Skyrim DLC was also a timed exclusive to xbox. It just seems like Bungie/Sony are using a different method. Instead of having a short timed exclusive on the entire DLC, they are holding back small portions of content for a longer period. Not saying it is the right thing to do. It's just their strategy. I don't know if this has been done before so only time will tell if it makes a major impact on sales.
