Sorry, maybe I don't know what context you are using supernatural. Literally, or are you referring to a movie or something?

It's a show. A large part of the story revolves around making a deal at the cross roads. Robert Johnson had an episode dedicated to him and his music inspired a lot of season 3's plotline. Check it out the first five seasons are pure gold.
