My brother told me a story how he used to talk to this hipster girl back in college and he asked her if she like some song and she was like no it's to mainstream after that he thought oh my god I cant believe she just said that.
I thought that was just a stereotype but by hipsters refusing to like a song since it's "to mainstream" doesn't it make that way of thinking "to mainstream" contradicting themselves when they say that or choose not to like something just for the fact that it's mainstream?

Most hipsters dismiss others like them, for being "dumb -blam!-ing hipsters." Irony much?
