I always wanted a PS. But the only thing holding me back is Halo

I am getting a ps4 over the holidays. Halo is going to be fun but I am sure if 343 does not have a way to counter boosters it will probably get boring. Honestly, I have an xbox 1 for Tomb Raider because the new one is exclusive to Xbox.
