So MCC and Cod for Pvp and DA Inquisition for RPG. Sprinkle in a little Evolve and AC Unity. Why should I keep playing Destiny?
The new raid? That everyone will complain doesn't have matchmaking, still utilizes RNG, and will surely have exploits that take the fun out of it.
Perhaps the new strikes that I can do over and over.
More loot certainly, which I will end up dismantling since there is no point in keeping the armor once I have the new raid gear and have Leveled 32, and since there is no reason or vault space to keep the new weapons once I figure out the 3 that I will use regularly.
I know! I'll keep playing for the story! Now where did Bungie put that?

How does an exploit remove the fun? Also, it looks like you're moaning about gear. Why?
-
The point about the gear is that the only way to max level is with raid gear (at least so far) which forces you to use it. Also, in terms of weapons, no matter how many shiny new exotics they give us, we only have so much vault space, and have been given no indication it would be increased (that I have seen). So I will choose the primary, special, and heavy weapon that suits me and dismantle the rest because there is no point in keeping the others. My disappointment here lies in the fact that it detracts from their goal of "every piece of gear having an amazing story behind it." Because all those amazing stories will just be dismantled for parts. As for the exploits, I have only done the raid with randoms, and they have all opted for the easy way out of pushing the Templar (and Atheon pre-patch) off the edge. It was boring, not the challenge I expected from the raid.
-
Well surely the responsibility for that disappointment lies with yourself rather than bungie? Just because the exploit is there doesn't mean you have to use it.
-
I didn't want to use it, I wanted to experience the challenge of the raid. However, since I was playing with randoms, it fell to a majority vote. The other members of the fire team opted for the easy way out, as I said before. It is not Bungie's fault that players find these exploits. I never said it was. However, if they allowed matchmaking for raids with options for being paired with players who wanted to play without utilizing exploits, I would be able to experience the raid as it was intended.
-
Now you're just being ridiculous. Is there supposed to be a filter like "exploits on". It's not meant to be exploited at all. Why don't you use some initiative and ask the fireteam leader not to use exploits before you start your raid or better still, be fireteam leader yourself and make that decision.
-
Yes. Because when I'm fire team leader 5 random stranger's will instantly respect my decision to avoid the easy route and play the game as it was meant to be played. They won't argue at all or leave when they realize I won't budge, or just let me die and do things the easy way after. I was being ridiculous, you're right. No game has ever had the ability to specify whether a player is a completionist, speed runner (which would be where those using exploits go), or casual gamer. Yeah no, no game has never had that before.
-
Well lets be real here. If you're fireteam leader in vault of glass and you don't lead the raid then you're going to get nowhere. It's difficult to be reasonable with you when you think that it's bungies responsibility to stop you from using an exploit in order to overcome a boss encounter. The responsibility lies with you and you alone. If you felt it was such an issue, you could have just left the raid.
