My brother and I both play Destiny in the same house on the same modem. I play on my Xbox One using a wired connection, and he plays on his PS4 using a wireless connection.
Our broadband specs are:
adsl2+
~4.5 megabits per second download speed
~0.50 megabits per seconds upload speed
We have analysed that when we play together at the same time on both consoles, the frequency of error codes such as bee increases, where it states that there is no internet connection detected, while we are clearly talking to our friends over Xbox Live and PSN. The weird thing is that we both get the errors at the exact same time, however when only one of us has a console fired up and playing, it seems to never or very rarely pop up.
So my question is:
Do multiple consoles playing on the same network affect the stability of the connection between our consoles and Destiny's servers?
I know that having multiple devices connected and using the internet on the same network can reduce the broadband speeds on each device. I have made sure that there are no devices using the internet when we play, but nonetheless, it still works fine until the error appears.
Please help, feedback is greatly appreciated.

Unless you have a second modem (not router), you are both on the same connection, regardless of wired or Wifi. Destiny takes up a lot of your connection with only one game running, so having 2 games on at the same time will put a lot of stress on the connection.
