Ps gets extra content early on top of the dlc the dark below. Its not part of it.

I understand that; it just seems a bit unfair to offer the game at the same price, even though it does not have the same content.

It does though, you just get it later on xbox and don't worry your not missing much atm. The best strikes are on both.

Didn't they say it would be at least a year? And would it be free, or would we have to pay more on top of what we are already paying?

Fall 2015 so yes probably about a year. I would say it will be a paid xbox exclusive dlc pack with 3-4 strikes, new weapons and armour.
