Daily "where's the Bad Juju/Thorn buff you announced over a month ago?" thread

Well? You have the time to nerf the Mythoclast and adjust values for Scout Rifles across the board within the same time span, but don't have the time to buff the exotics you stated you were going to adjust over a month ago? At the time when you announced the buffs, 99% of the community didn't even know the Mythoclast existed. Yet, the Mythoclast got adjusted before the other guns get their already announced buffs? Do you even logic? There's really no excuse for it at this point. Edit: I realize some of you think the Thorn does not need a buff, and while that's fine (I don't have it, I don't know), it's also missing the point. The real focus here is the fact that Bungie announced that they were going to buff both the Bad Juju and Thorn over a month ago, yet no changes have been made still (but changes were made to other guns during the same time frame).

  • I have a fully upgraded juju. Anyone who says to upgrade the mag size doesn't have string of curses unlocked. A larger mag is pointless for this gun it essentially has a bottomless clip. It needs a damage boost. It currently takes 9 bullets to the head in PVP to kill. I think it should be buffed so 7 headshots kill. This still will required 3 bursts but accounts for the inevitable lost shots out of some of the bursts. This also will in effect make the gun feel as tho the mag is deeper. I could see the addition of maybe one extra burst to the mag in addition to a damage buff so you could switch targets mid magazine and still be able to kill them (6 bursts total, 3 bursts per kill in PVP) PVE wise people are simply misusing this weapon. Again I think it should have a slight damage buff (if any!)as my maxed out one still can't kill a vandal with a full burst to the head. This is a crowd control weapon for dealing with adds. You shouldn't be bringing it into phogoth unless you are focusing on killing acolytes and thrall. Another possible fix is simply extending the length of the damage buff from stein of curses. It currently lasts maybe 1 sec. Extending it to 3-5 sec would do wonders for this weapon forcing the player to "charge up" it's damage on a dreg before focusing fire on a captain for example. Also I think there should be an elemental modifier on the weapon I think void fits best but really anything to make it slightly more viable than dealing with adds exclusively. This is a niche weapon and I respect it as such. No weapon will out preform this one on dealing with adds. Now the glitches with this weapon... .5 Only the bullets prior to the kill shot are returned to the mag. I don't know if this is intentional but it's annoying and as it stands currently with a bare minimum mag size it doesn't really have room to be missing a few bullets. 1. Instant reload doesn't work on harpies so this gun is pointless on vex levels. 2. Auto reload freezes often. Seems like it is where the clip would have ended had auto reload not kicked in. 3. I know there is another one but it's escaping me right now TL;DR: Slight damage buff in PVP Slight damage buff in PVE [u]or[/u] extend time of damage buff from string of curses Add elemental damage to the weapon (void) Add 1 more burst to the current mag size (15->18) Fix bugs in the weapon
