I understand your point, but that's financially a bit irresponsible. There's no need for me to purchase a second console at this time when there aren't enough PS-exclusive games to justify throwing down another $400.
I enjoy the Playstation platform very much. I still have a PS2 sitting happily on my entertainment center for when I wish to play Fatal Frame and Kingdom Hearts. When it came to deciding between the One and the PS4, I chose the One only because most of the online community that I was already gaming with was continuing forward with Microsoft. A PS4 is in the future, but not now.
Here is my beef: why offer one game at the same price for two consoles, but offer extra content to those on the Playstation platforms? We both paid the same amount of money.
I think I'm more than entitled to be upset that in order to enjoy this game and all of its content, Bungie expects me to trade in my console?
And to be fair: if they were favoring the Xbox users, I would be just as upset for those on the Playstation platforms. I was part of a petition to bring Mass Effect to Playstation years ago, even though I didn't have one (and they did!). Why does it have to be a console war?
We, as gamers, don't care about which console is better: we just want to enjoy the games! It is a shame that Bungie has taken part in restricting that.
