I used to charge £3 a car (depending on what it was), wash, shampoo, dry. For £5 I'd wax it too. This was back in the N64 days: my parents could see I really wanted one and was willing to do what it took to save up, so when I was about £100 off target, they paid the rest (they were like £300 at the time, which seems crazy now). Point is, wouldn't take you long to save what you want, so good luck to you!
