Dearest Bungie, I regret to inform you that Destiny has no more than become a simple game of grinding for me. All jubilant pursuits have been sucked out of the experience on behalf of horrible drops within the Vault and the fact that I can only get loot once from normal, and once from hard which I cannot even fully complete due to my character being level 29. One chest also does not drop loot if you have already completed it on normal. I have also discovered a way to glitch into the citadel and the serapham vault. Both insinuate that these were originally in the game already. Also given the fact that the DLC storage space requirement is so little, I have conjectured that it is elucidate that you have held back on content, and that the DLC is simply a key that unlocks what is already contained within. Two factions were also missing on day one; which included Osiris and Seven Seraphs. I am sure you will make us pay for them as well unfortunately. I do not know if this is the doings of Activision, you, or perhaps both. All I can really say is that I am quite apoplectic of the way this game has been released, and how much content has been held back. However, even with these horrible setbacks, I will continue to play in hopes quality will be improved. Especially for the vault. As I feel placing "no walk zones" on the platforms was a decision in poor taste.

I've done the raid 3 maybe 4 times... And I'm one piece from being able to reach level 30!!!
-
Same here!! I just need the gauntlets or head gear since I have two exotic armor pieces. .-.

I agree the game lacks in many areas but you do realize the raid was supposed to be way harder and not cheated on, also do the raid on hard first, their will be more loot, as for the dlc, the download is there for you to hold kind of like a ticket, when the content comes out it will require more memory, finally, there is a way the game is meant to be played and if you do just that you have the ability to level 3 charecters to level 29 at a maximum of 1 month with little play time, this being said I dont agree with some of the changes made. Ps, the crucible somewhat evens out the difference in player armor level and weapon damage so its not going to truly screw you persay....you get what you pay for

Edited by StateCat: 11/3/2014 1:16:25 AMTrue! Although if a Hobgoblin can snipe me from up there I should be able to be up there as well. -_- I am glad I am not the only one who noticed! I feel it is so much harder to drop a level 30 than a level 29 or lower! It almost feels like Iron banner has perpetually been in the game this entire time which is why it didn't feel much different in the actual IB except for weapon damage.
-
The thing with the hobgoblin being able to be up there, whereas we the pla g er having to stay low is just that its a platform for them only, it adds more difficulty to the game which I believe should have been harder, as did bungie. The thing with it is the ships, weapons, and gear is supposed to be earned, which makes it more rewarding.....now if they make it as hard as it needs to be for example the raid on hard the amount of good gear should increase, which in all honesty it kind of does.
-
Yeah I agree it should be difficult but that's cheap difficulty. When a 29 at or under 1400 defense can be one shotted that is simply a cheap and thoughtless way of challenging the player, and so is lightswitch difficulty. Instead challenge the player to think and not just "you must see this enemy before he sees you or game over". Considering what borderlands did with PVE difficulty Destiny's feels about 5 years old. We only see suicide bomber type enemies very briefly in the raid...Really ? No enemies that enrage and grow stronger when they kill? Seriously Destiny PVE enemies suck, the few challenging moments both in and out of the raid are produced from cheap unimaginative mechanics.
-
On this I agree as well the only thing for why they are using cheap mechanics for enemies such as the ones in the raid has to do with the fact that this is their first game out of their norm.......although that shouldnt be an excuse.....valid point there my friend

Edited by StateCat: 11/3/2014 3:51:56 AMEh I am iffy on that. Of course you have a chance to get crazy weapons like the Fatebringer, and the mythoclast, but I have done loot runs on hard and found myself getting more ascendant shards than on normal. .-. Perhaps I am just unlucky.
-
On that note unfortunately it would be your luck, and here is where I can go out on a limb and assume we both agree on the fact that the drops should include at a minimum, one peice of armor, one weapon, the mark, and or the shader, the ship, or the sparrow randomly but one of each at the minimum per run, and not the lack of.
-
Yes! Not a bunch of chatter white would be greatly appreciated. XD
-
In addition as for the crucible they need to add a mode where my level 30 gear will destroy a level 20.....on that note so did bungie which is why on the second coming of the iron banner they did just that so lower levels beware *laughing menacingly*

Its not "more" loot. its just getting both sets of loot in one sitting. (For doing Hard mode first). Same goes with your weekly. Do the level 28 weekly to skip the 26, and 24th one since they will give you the same amount of coins (remove the engram).
