According to some leaked information that may or may not be accurate, the final boss in Crota's End is something called the Oversoul. So my question to you, DeeJ, is if this is true, will we ever actually see Crota?

He can't be that big either, he sword was the size fit for a reg hive knight at most.

Yes the sword was small but all information and dialogue in the game says it was used to slay thousands of Guardians, but I'm pretty sure no one ever actually says Crota himself used it

Actually you know what you're right. I played it the other day and either Zavala or Cayde-6 says "he wielded a sword so dark it drained whatever light it touched." However someone also says something about a fragment of the sword, so maybe when Crota was defeated the Swarm Princes took a shard and used it to form a smaller version? I guess we'll find out soon enough.

I will be a bigger version of a hive knight. Just like the fallen bosses are larger versions of fallen majors. That is my guess.
