It doesn't even come close to things like Kotor, SWtoR, WoW, Mass Effect or Elder Scrolls.

I loved Halo and Halo 2. I never had a 360 so I never got to play 3 or 4, and so I didn't really follow Bungie like I used to. So I have been absolutely delighted with Destiny so far. Specifically the story. It reminds me of the first Halo, where you had a very generic, sparse set of story elements and a ton of tiny little clues and hints at a huge narrative behind the scenes. That tantalizing sense of something bigger happening out of sight kept me salivating for the sequel and novels. I remember for Halo CE getting online and checking halo bungie org all the time to read up on the theories and speculation about what it all meant. That I'm doing that now for a game for the first time in years (though admittedly not on HBO) is a real treat. Granted the narrative in Destiny isn't as cohesive as CE's, but I think that is because it's meant to encourage rampant speculation. It's too bad the most visible reaction from players has been quite the opposite. I think it really shows how different the gaming culture is now compared to 13 years ago when the first Halo launched.

Now not everyone is crying as you state some are giving general feedback on the game that they are playing - and again if you are giving feedback most will focus on what they believe needs to be improved upon or changed or removed because that is the way you would normally present it because if we all just sprouted the positivity in the game we would never see changes. Now I am sure someone will check my play time as I to am in the camp of this not being the best Bungie could of given us and I think they missed the mark by quite a distance in a lot of areas a game like this needs to thrive and to turn this into Bungie's next big franchise. But like a lot of people who give constructive criticism will state in a edit or in general is that they love who Bungie was due to the work with Halo and yes this is a different Bungie remember but we do enjoy what they did with the actual gameplay as well as the visual design of the game but I can't think of many other things I would actual praise them for... the music is awesome in some areas but that tackles with the fact that I have no option to tweek audio settings for other things such as voice, sound effects etc etc

The only other game I have enjoyed as much as Destiny is the ME trilogy. I am about 120 hrs into it and just about to finish my second character. I am having a great time, the mechanics are great and the levels are well designed. I only with that I didn't have to rely on RNG for raid gear. 4 chatter whites, and only 2 pieces of raid gear is a little much for me.

I do like the sky box, scenery is amazing. especially the view from the tower at dusk or night. simply stunning. Bungie know how to make a view !!

I like this game. 170 hours played. And honestly I just enjoy jumping on with my mates. I would leave destiny however if they left. I feel that's what is lacking the most. The ability to play solo without falling asleep

-It does have a beautiful concept art. -Nice fighting style like we are used in halo but with interesting upgrades and powers. -being connected to your "friends" has never been so easy. You don't have to restart a game to include one member. -the story seems promising although we are seeing nothing. But you know, it's the trend these days. And I'm also tired of "this last city on earth" concept. I think it's way overused. -pvp and pve are really fun but the production lacked ambition. They could make bigger maps with 16 vs 16 battles. [And I can't digest the fact that ps users have one more strike than us] -despite the repetitiveness of the game, I can't feel myself bored cause when I'm playing with others I can enjoy it. It's like chess, the game is still the same after hundreds of years and it's still boring but when you're playing with a friend it's actually fun. -the maps are beautiful. So beautiful that I hope that we will get more of them and bigger. Those are the positive points that this game has. And that's what the game needs to be playable. And there are also negative points but overemphasized because bungie has poor communication skills. So people yell louder and louder to get heard or read.

Only Positive things? Alright. I like Xur. Why? Because I can't trade Exotics I won't use to my friends, so better yet, Xur can allow us all to just have our own. He also allowed my 10 year old brother to get Exotic Armor and his own Ice Breaker, even though I already had one and he plays on my account. I like the Raid as an idea. The whole thing is a cool experience and is just a lot more fun and interesting than the rest of the game. I finally got decent Raid gear, and by that, I mean the VM, the helm and the sparrow. Even though it lacks any actual direct social activity, I've made plenty of new friends through it. I like the Exotics in the game, even if everyone has most of them by now, thus making them a little less rare than before, but it's still kind of cool to see the few I don't have every now and then. Do I like this game? Yes. Will I just jump on board the next installment, not including DLC? Haha, no. There's a lot I like about this game, but damn does it have a ways to go. If they turn their sh*t around come next time, I'll see how they do after release and consider buying it, but for now, I'm only really playing to fill in time until I get other games, and it does that well enough.

I like the whole game in general sure it has it's flaws but it hasn't been out for very long and I enjoy playing it!! Bottom line I like it because it keeps me entertained for long periods of time

I dunno I kinda expected a little more meat after 6 years of work.

I'm enjoying it as well. It's a fun game that's kept me engaged since release. Of course, I only really play for 10-20 hours a week. I imagine if I was one of those people playing 70+ hours a week I'd be bored by now and done with the game. But honestly, I don't think I've ever played a game of this type where I could reasonably expect to get 70+ hours of enjoyable game play out of it. Playing past COD, Halo or other similar games I've usually gotten bored in 20-30 hours.

You know that the game has a good basis when you're biggest complaint is 'not enough content'. Destiny plays better than any game i have played that i can remember. For a 100% online game, it has less connection issues than other online games i have recently played. The graphics, gameplay, and co-op aspects are why i keep coming back for more.
