Oh Brother, Where Art Thou - I scrolled down and you claim Robert Johnson - the name is actually Tommy Johnson (both in the movie and the real musician).

I am aware that Wikipedia is not one hundred percent reliable, but I am sure the musician's name is Robert Johnson. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Johnson

Part way through the section about the legend, (second paragraph of "Various accounts") it mentions Tommy Johnson as the probable origin of the legend though, and there is further mention of it in this [i]other[/i] wikipedia page (second paragraph from bottom under "Career" and "In Fiction" section). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tommy_Johnson_(musician) Ultimately, it looks like we are [b]BOTH[/b] right! Yay internets! =)
