Here's an honest question - not trolling.
I set it to download last night when I went to bed and plan on checking it out after work today. For those of you that have it- how is it?
I've always absolutely detested CoD's PVP (not my style) but the single player was great. While their single player campaign maybe lasts a little longer than Destiny's, it always left me feeling that sense of completion/accomplishment when I beat every mission on hard. With Destiny, I was left feeling empty like.. that's it? I understand it's supposed to continue for however long they can keep people playing it... but there was no sense of "more to come" from the story line. It's like ok you did it.. yay.. here's a rifle from home chick. The end.
I still enjoy Destiny.. I cant place my finger on why I'm addicted to repeating the same tasks over and over and over like a nutless monkey, except that maybe it's because I have a group of friends who do it with me and I enjoy playing with them. I think that's my addiction - playing with my group of friends. I know a few of them are picking up CoD - so we may migrate that way.
So for those of you with both games - what's your plan on playing Destiny? I see myself popping in every Tuesday (as long as I remember to), running nightfall, weekly, and raid, then playing something else.... Once DLC drops I'll probably come back until I complete it.... I'm guessing a week or two? Then who knows... what do you think you'll end up doing with Destiny now that so many other AAA games are coming out throughout the holidays? Will you pop back in for Tuesday Mayhem or will you write it off completely? Will you check in only on DLC days and pop out? Are you selling it? Thoughts? What do you enjoy about one over the other?

You left off an option that I'm sure many of us will be doing---Playing both Destiny and COD daily. I will be picking up my pre-order Advanced Warfare in a few hours, but I will still be playing Destiny every day. Not sure why, for some reason, people seem to think that you can't play two games at the same time. They make it seem like this is a sporting event where you can only root for one team.

I have both and will play both. Ill pop on destiny for a few hours, and then AW for a few hours and so on and so on. Tuesdays ill do all daily, weekly, nightfall in one hit, play crucible. Then have an hour or 2 on AW.

as a gamer I'll play through my CoD when I get it but I'll come back and play cause I'm not big on CoD's pvp games but do enjoy their campaign games
-
My choice: "I'm over it - next AAA title please?"
-
I be playing both daily, destiny first doing bounties, weeklys and raids with some PvP and then when all my destiny friends sleep, I play cod
-
Destiny will still be my main. I am currently working on the Bad JuJu and Invective bounties, so I have some stuff to do. I will continue to raid every week until I get 30/30/30 and get a Praetorian Foil and Fatebringer.
-
Tuesday will be my big destiny day, enjoy playing raid, weekly, nightfall with friends. But pvp cod all the way.
-
No interest in CoD, but will be taking a break when Dragon Age drops - will run all the weekly reset stuff and will be back for DLC
-
I'll be playing Destiny on and off especially on weekends for raids and nightfalls.
-
Skipping COD because I'm so into Destiny. ...Farcry 4 is a different story though. Plan on coming back for DLC.

I'm staying. Enough for me left to do till Dark Below drops and then I'll have more to do.
