No, what you want is something for free.
Bungie isn't responsible for your expectations. Besides everything you are griping about is subjective. Just because you don't like the story, or didn't take to the time a read into the lore doesn't mean the game isn't story driven.
Bungie has said on multiple occasions that they are making this game for the long term, meaning it isn't going to be open and shut in terms of story. If this is not what you wanted, then that sucks for you. If you don't like it, then move on, there are plenty of other games coming out.
Also, not for nothing, but any time someone screams for free DLC it is soley because of the cost. The fact is that any story missions that are going to be released are going to be the same type of stuff we have now, so if you don't like the game as is, you aren't going to like it with DLC. Cost has little to do with it. Just move on, clear the boards, and leave those of us who like the game in peace.

And there's no need for a personal attack/insult. Mute. Edit: Come to think of it, the engrams cost motes of light, not coins. And motes of light are based on exp, so still not loot.
