We agree. Help is on the way in the form of Lord Saladin.
Sorry if this was mentioned already, but I wanted to say it, too.

Nope. IB gear does NOT get you to 30. You are still one piece of 30 Light gear short, still need to the Raid a million times for the chest piece, which in the mean time you'll get the boots and gloves anyway so IB isn't so great.
-
i dont mean to pile up on comments like this deej, love what you do for us by the way. Can there be a PvE event like iron banner/maybe the redone queens wrath which offers good light gear? Would be awesome
-
Deej that still only gives is us a couple other pieces of armor, we need more customization in or armor! This is definitely a step in the right direction though 😆
-
So your answer to a PvE problem is PvP... No thanks. Lots of us bought this game for the Co-op PvE not PvP. The PvP was something to do when you had nothing left. Where is the PvE events?
-
But there are a lot of people like me to absolutely HATE the Iron Banner. So you're saying that the Iron Banner is the only solutions? Bullocks!!!
-
The Raid is PvE's way on getting one to lvl 30. The Iron Banner is PvP's way on getting one closer to lvl 30. Btw, your comment is full of tears.
-
U r a -blam!- head
-
You mad bro?
-
You've completed the raid 9 times. I've completed it 37 times between normal and hard. PVE is not a surefire way to get to 30. It's all luck, just as it will be in the Iron Banner.

Edited by RawWilson1: 11/16/2014 2:53:17 PMThe Iron Banner requires skill. Where were you the last time is was here? Anyone who played it knows that. PS: The Iron Banner is a timed event. The Raid is there forever. So, what's the problem that there's now a way to become closer to lvl 30 via PvP? PSS: There is no problem!
-
Iron banner grind endlessly without having to be held up within the 1-2 weeks its available get rank get glimmer job done. Vog raid capped at once a week per character. May never see required loot. Ive done countless raids on my hunter and only ever seen the gloves on its first raid.
-
How can the crucible require skill when 95% of kills are done by way of one-shot methods (fusion rifle, shotgun, blade dancer, rocket launcher, etc). Oh, let me guess you're probably one of those Call of Duty guys who like that type of shooter (facepalm)
-
Edited by RawWilson1: 11/16/2014 3:33:28 PMI haven't play a CoD game since Modern Warfare 2. Anyway, the Iron Banner requires skill. Have you even played in the Iron Banner? It's not some ordinary Crucible match. Anyone who actually played it wouldn't make that comparison... PS: There is less one hit kills in the Banner. Level advantages are turned on. So, people's armor's defense actually matters.

Please add a function to disable aim assist, adjust music/SFX volumes, broaden the look sensitivity, and add a function to adjust ADS sensitivity.
-
Please, this!!!

Hey DeeJ, how about bounties for level 30 gear? Kind of like the exotic weapon bounties but for gear, just a thought.
-
Love this idea, long drawn out bounties (side quests) to obtain gear! This is a great idea, bump!
-
This would be great!
-
Awesome thought!
-
Umm, no. How about some PVE opportunities? Like literally anything other than forced PVP to level would be nice.
-
The Raid is PvE and a way to become lvl 30. The Iron Banner now PVP's way on becoming closer to lvl 30. Your comment is invalid now.
-
wahh they gave you an olive branch, you break it? your problem
-
waaaaah, I'm a hopeless fanboy, -blam!- you all. I'm out.
-
But Lord Saladin is not the solution unsless Iron Banner would be made a permanent thing in the game. The raid is also not just a timed event. Just saying. Don't force players to play things they don't want to. That's how you bind clientel. By creating opportunities not by forcing limitations. Here is my take on the matter if someone is interested: http://www.bungie.net/de/Forum/Post/75728751/0/0

Judging by the silence your going to do exactly that.... Wow
