It wasn't going to be in the release. Get your facts straight. Thats just a rumor spread around by haters and trolls. The truth is that Bungie added the areas of the dlc only, not the content. Why? So that the download would be faster and people who don't buy it can still play with people who do. I got all my facts straight. No hater or troll can convince me. Only facts proven by evidence. You forgot a ton of new weapons and armor along with some vehicles and 3 new story missions. And quests too. This isn't COD where you pay $14 for a weapon and a map.

Cool story. So you actually think you can play the new content without buying it just because you joined someone who did? Did I read that right? The content is already there in the game it was there when you bought it, the DLC is only adding weapons, armor, pvp maps and then flagging your account so you're able to enter the pve areas. The Strike, the Raid and missions are already there. That's how content DLC works.

My proof? The "Expansion Pass", $30 for a Expansion Pass. None of this explains the lack of competent story telling, amateurish mission designs, extremely frustrating RNG loot. The DLC doesn't excuse the missing content and unsatisfying story at release, right now. No excuse for ripping out huge chunks of the story and game to later sell to us in DLC. Gives us the full story up front with the content then later add to it with DLC. Don't sell me shit that should already be in the game.

I did some kind of research before I would make my argument. You haven't changed. Your opinion stays the same no matter how much evidence I provide. Yes there is a lack of story, but do you even know what Bungie said. Bungie said they made the story cryptic on purpose. If you don't know what it means well it means "hard to understand;mysterious". That makes so much sense right. If you could just pay a bit more attention you would be able to see that Bungie keeps trolling us by having put little things in the game that might actually be foreshadowing what will happen in future games. Dregs sometimes call you the darkness. You can see speculation evolving from this one tiny detail. The season pass costs $30 and you get the first two dlc's when they come out. Each DLC costs $20. It's your choice pay $30 for the first two DLCs or pay $40. I'm done arguing with you and if you want to reply make it short and don't expect me to reply back. If you hate the game but you still play it means that you hate yourself. Me and the 9 million registered players of Destiny, minus the 5,000 haters, support and will keep supporting Bungie and Destiny. There is nothing you can do to stop us.
