Unfair timed exclusive petition
Making Xbox user wait almost a year to play and/or use content is ridiculous. You need to change that right. I can wait a month or 2; even 6 but a year is completely unreasonable, especially if I paid for it. I am a die hard bungie fan, owning and loving all of your halo games. Bungie, you are the most trustworthy developers and will listen, take in as consideration, and try to make a change. For all users who want their voices heard about this and all other time exclusives:

13 RepliesReasonable time? Try deploying to Afghanistan and being in a war for 12 months. You haven't had to wait to see your family, friends, and enjoy the little things in life. Time is limited. Make the most of it and stop complaining about a video game. In the grand scheme of things, a year from now you'll have the exclusive content. You'll spend a year of your life complaining about a video game and how impatient you are in that you cannot wait 2-3 months. Many of my friends and myself included have spent years of our life at war. Get over your petty crap.

I wasn't even a halo fan and I think this is ridiculous. I maybe played 2 hours of a halo game. I bought this ripe with gumption thinking this would be the end all be all of fps shooters. I love this game but paying the same for 10% less content is just unethical. This is the first I've ever "complained" about it but it's high time they rethink this. As of dlc we'll have three less exotics, two less strikes and some other content (I'm drunk my numbers my be off) than our play station brethren. It's not ok. Like you said... 6 months. Whatever, gave ps guys some bragging rights for awhile. But aren't we all gamers? Aren't we all entitled to the full extent of destiny that we paid for? I bought the dlc, so I paid for content in advance. But I also bought the disc... And paid for content in advance... A whole year later. Who's to say this game will still be relevant? Destiny 2 might already be on its way...

I'm on Ps4 and even I think that 1 year is an excessive wait for a piece of content you've already paid for, and then add the time you've waited if you pre-ordered.... Xbox def got the unnecessary shaft here. Sorry guys!

Yeah I would wait till spring for the new strike, I think that's reasonable. But a yearlong hiatus for the strike is pretty ridiculous imo

But this one is different on that it actually lowers the quality of games on both systems (ie. a strike that can never be a nightfall, maps that can't show in iron banner rotation, guns that XUR can't sell, and soon it gets worse). This is where Bungie should have at least tried, and who knows maybe they did and it wasn't their call, to point out that lowering the quality of the overall game to suit a shitty exclusive deal is not their goal. But at the end of the day perhaps the revenue they likely received from the deal is going to make the game better for all in the long run... ...ahh the American dream..

I like battlefields implementation of exclusives for premium members where premium members get access to the dlc 2 weeks early then it goes public. Bungie should at least shorten it to 2 months wait or remove it being that bungie was exclusive to Xbox for awhile (Halo series for example)

Bungie is the company that will listen to their fan base, while Activision will blow you if you pay them enough. We just want a reasonable time because a year for timed exclusive (for a video game) is not a time exclusive, it's just a plain exclusive . Even if they can't do nothing about it for this game the next game I know they'll put it in for consideration.

I FEEL GOOD ABOUT CAPITALISM To change this way of doing things so that everyone gets exactly the same thing and everyone is treated the same..... That is the communist way of thinking, would you be willing to give all your rights away so that you cant go on internet sites you want, buy anything you like, get a wage in a workplace that you deem is fair? It may not seem fair but you have a choice, if you dont like the choice you made choose again but in the end you get to choose be grateful for that right its awesome. To take away the right for these companies to compete in a open market that makes them try to get you the best content there is? BAD IDEA if they didnt have to compete why would they try to get better stuff no need to press so hard to be the best if there just gonna be the same. Sometimes the company you like will win sometimes they will lose. This is capitalism and it works well.

4 RepliesI think that exclusive content on day one was fine. I would love to play the content on PS but it is what it is. That content is like stuff you get for pre-ordering. I did not hear anyone from the Xbox side (me included) that got a new sparrow fell sorry for the ones did not. Having said that, for me DLC is another story. I do not think that exclusive DLC content is correct. In my opinion 3-6 months is about the correct time to wait for the PS exclusive content to hit Xbox. Btw, I can't wait for Tuesday regardless of exclusive content!!!!!

12 RepliesAs far as I know, Xbox is lucky to even have the game. I thought the whole game was going to be playstation exclusive until so many people started complaining. And the guy saying playstation fanboys need to get off their high horse, you're funny. I think this whole situation is funny. Xbox kids were and still whine all the time about Halo and what not. The second Sony starts getting some balls and forking out money, Xbox kids start crying. From a different point of view it is unfair. But it's also unfair that Xbox has halo, left for dead, gears, and now Halo 5, titanfall, sunset overdrive, ryse, dead rising. Now maybe exclusive games are a bad point here because playstation also has some good ones. A better point would be Xbox always getting cod and battle field maps early. All I can say is Sony must have paid a hefty amount. With that being said, there is nothing Bungie can do. They aren't taking sides or trying to get back at Microsoft for whatever reason. They're simply doing what they were paid to do. I would also like to add that I may play on playstation but I'm not trying to diss all the Xbox gamers. To each his own. I only wish to point out that this stuff happens on both sides. It's all business in gaming today. Money talks my fellow gamers.
