I specifically recall watching several interview vids of the devs at Bungie saying they are nowhere near finished with Destiny, that they wanted to get the game into the hands of their dedicated fans asap. Also during vids of alpha it stated that the final product is subject to change as well as during the beta. So far I've seen nothing from Bungie saying that what we would be getting at release was going to be the entire game. Not very smart for a game that is supposed to last ten years huh?
