Wait? Light level 32? Great! Now all of the gear I've slaved myself to acquire can become irrelevant for the low, low price of twenty bucks. In other words I paid $60 for a game. And a large portion of this game (the armor) already became irrelevant when VOG was released. Now I should pay an extra $20 so the VOG raid armor can become irrelevant too? Then another twenty, I'm assuming for the same scenario, when House of wolves is released. (Or save 4 bucks, pre-order it with the expansion pass, and trap myself into what might not be a good deal.)
Then why even add armor customization? Apparently how I want to look means nothing if I'd like to play the new DLC content (New Raid on hard, and I assume the new DLC after.)... Then when that DLC is released I have to pray for an armor drop -- that I might not even find appealing or useful -- so I can make my purchase worth being made?
At the very least, to make this right, add a vanity system where I select a set of armor to affect how I look, then another to affect my stats, perks, and light level.
You're lucky the gunplay is so dang fun, Bungie...
