Vanguard Marks
What is the point of them if you choose a faction? Needing legendary gear but having to grind out crucible marks while a pile on vanguard marks sit there tauntingly just seems odd, when both crucible and vanguard rep works toward your faction.
Unless future vendors/factions that sell gear for vanguard marks are added, they're utterly useless to me.
Edit - This is on an account that does not have vanguard or crucible rank 2, cannot buy armour from those vendors.

I don't understand why they didn't make it so that if you wanna just do strikes while having your faction equipped then you should be rewarded Marks towards your faction. Since you can get rep from it anyways might aswel get marks from it to. I don't like how they force you to play crucible in order to even buy anything from them. That's stupid -.-

I stuck with Vanguard for my 'faction', but only to get the armor up to legendary pre-VoG. Since then, they are as useless.

3 RepliesBecause gear is different and suited towards playstyles. Get vanguard if you want TDYK, crucible if you want LHD, FWC if you want The Crash and so on.

They are pretty useless after the first couple of weeks. Just buy boots and shard them. Basically 2 weeks of marks are worth 6-9 shards... Pretty meh if you ask me. If their stock (especially weapon) refreshed they would be worth a lot more.
