Killing Xyor for exotic bounty, A Light in the Dark
I just finished up the crucible section of A Light in the Dark and am now on the last step where you have to kill Xyor in the special lvl 26 Summoning Pits strike.
From what I've read Xyor spawns from the 3rd drop ship, so Phogoth has to remain alive until she spawns and is killed.
I'm a lvl 28 hunter having a little trouble finishing this part up by myself, so I thought there might be someone else who needs this step of the bounty or would just like to help.

Easiest way to do this solo is to have lots of heavy ammo syncs and be sure your heavy weapon choice does solar damage. Stay in the room where the shreiker spawns and u can hide just outside the door frame from it. Then just kill everything that comes thru the door and eventually she will show up. Patience is key here.
