I'm a runner because you get exotics from mission rewards, not drops. I've gotten 3 exotics from Tiger Strike rewards. When was the last time a legendary engram (do those even drop anymore?) turned into an exotic for you?

I got a hard light from a legendary in the nexus strike from that huge cluster of rohbutz near the boss. I'm still a 50/50. Sometimes I skip the skippable mobs, sometimes I annihilate them.

This is my logic too, but this clearly isn't the case for everyone. I have yet to land any exotics from my strikes. A couple of legendaries, but no exotics.
