I plow my plasma cannon into the creatures abdomen and aim the chain gun at it's shoulder. I hope this works... I fire the chain gun. It slices through the creatures shoulder, cutting off it's right arm. At the same time I fire my plasma cannon, blowing a hole in the creature and propelling myself back. Now momentarily out of the creatures grasp I grab onto a piece of wreckage and push myself off of it and start leap-frogging my way towards the ruined space station...
