I respect OP when he says that there is no right or wrong in being a runner or completionist, but I have to say I slightly disagree, and am personally annoyed by those turd blossoms, aka "runners", whose actions always end up affecting MY game. For example, on the Mars strike. As soon as we spawn, there is always some ass hole who decides to just sparrow away into the complex to the first door, not even bothering to go into the building to deploy the ghost so that the door will open when they get to the first checkpoint. This happens to me 90% of the time, and it's gotten to the point where, if I go into a game where the other two players just make a dash for the door, ASSUMING that I will be the one to open it for them by staying behind, I just put my troll hat on and kill enemies in the surrounding area until they either depart from the strike or they bring their happy asses back to the building and deploy their ghost. I REALLY have a problem with these so-called "runners". Not to mention, once that first door is open they completely skip that entire section and just move on to the area where you have to kill the three guards/tank. I understand that everyone plays the game differently, so I can respect OP when he says 'there is no right or wrong answer, but you can bet that there's gonna be a problem whenever that runner that goes off and does his own thing gets killed in a restricted respawn zone (which happens way too often), and it pulls me out of what I'm doing, which is killing everything that the 'runners' decided to skip and spawns me in that respawn restricted zone. At that point, being a runner is absolutely wrong if you can't complete the checkpoint without being killed. That affects MY style of being a completionist, and I don't think that I'm going to change the way I play because some jackoffs decide they want to get the end game rewards as quick as possible. See what I mean? Being a completionist doesn't hurt anyone, but being a runner skipping ahead and being the only one to die in a RR zone does. Therefore, all you runners can suck it. Unless you can do your thing without dying, in which case I don't give a crap what you do. The real problem is that I can't solo a Tiger strike. Or better yet, adjust the matchmaking so that I only get completionists such as my self.
