Now that this game has flopped in a variety of ways, do any of you guys who bought one or multiple next generation consoles to play ONE game (Destiny) while wearing your Hype-Goggles regret your decision?
Edit: This post has been misinterpreted, I could of said Xbox 1 and got the same response. I only used PS4 as an example to target a particular group of people that buy a console or multiple consoles of the same type to play one game. This isn't a biased console war thread.
Edit 2: I rephrased the OP, war is over.. Smh

Nope, I bought my ps4 to play the battlefield series. So destiny is a bonus, along with any other game I want to buy.
-
I remember when trolls actually tried...
-
I remember when people bought PS4's to play Destiny
Pepperidge Farm remembers.
-
Anyone who buys a console for one specific game should regret it no matter what.

I bought my console when Destiny came out, as it was the first game that felt worthwhile for the investment. I have and intend to buy more games. It's not a Destiny Console, it's a Games Console. I still very much play Destiny and I would disagree to say it is a flop, considering it is one of the most successful new franchise to be launched.
-
It's my favorite game, so no.
-
How can you regret it, while I was choosing which console I wanted I weighted up what games, exclusives and power of the system itself. If you didn't and randomly picked that would be a regret. I personally picked the ps4 due to games and power, I actually left a good bunch of friends who decided to go for the xbox1. Don't regret it, made good friends here quick enough. #weshootforfun

No I don't regret it... Unity and far cry come out really soon. Oh yea and don't forget dragon age.
-
Playstation > XBox Always. A decision over a game is meaningless.
-
No, I love my PS4 and there's more games releasing that I want to, and will, play on it.
-
I bought it one two consoles because I wanted it, in fact I bought the game three times. One on PS4 because I started there. Two on XBOX One so I could play with my Wife. I regret nothing.
-
I bought it because I wanted it good sir/madame
-
If I hadent thrown nearly 200 hours at the game then probably. However, I love this game and while it has flaws I believe the pros out weigh the cons and I would most definately buy a ps4 just for destiny again given the chance.
-
I wouldn't be mad. There's plenty of other games to play on both consoles besides Destiny.
-
No regrets here. Bought Destiny on PS3 originally, and that convinced me that it was time to upgrade. I have other games and haven't played them anywhere near as much as Destiny.
-
Nope I'm loving destiny to bad ur not
-
No I actually love my white ps4 and destiny:)
-
Don't feed the troll.
-
Yeah all I have right now is last of us and destiny and I'm really enjoying it
-
I bought a PS4 solely for destiny. And I'm actually enjoying the game with its faults. It's still a good game it's just nothing compared to what it should've been. That being said. In the coming weeks I'm going to buy a SECOND PS4 purely for destiny so that my wife can play... even though I'm 90% sure she'll get over it in a month like every other thing I drop half a paycheck on for her.... ugh. The things we do for women.
-
I did. But I still enjoy Destiny and I now have access to future final fantasies. Im set!
-
Still love Destiny Still the Best game I've ever seen and played (despite bunholes constant Messing up a good perfectly-ok-way-to-play. .. thing) Bought the PS4 bundle and STILL loving it. So. ........ shut up Meg? Yeah. Shut up Meg!
-
i wanted to buy the destiny bundle but couldnt afford too. i am so glad i was too poor. now i can get a ps4 when a good game comes out and upgrade my destiny account of they happen to get their shit together (lol)

You should never buy a console for one game only... Variety is the spice of life. ;)
-
Personally didn't buy a next gen for this game. Did build a gaming rig for diablo 3 before it released, so same boat. Still don't regret it though.
