Excuse me? My friend got thunderlord and red death both from legendary drops from mobs, guess where? The f.uckin loot cave, you're telling me spending 23 strange coins on red death ([i]no matter how I got them[/i]) is not "legit earned" buying shit from Xûr is actually the only guaranteed way of "earning" an exotic, bar the bounties obviously. Sure you could get it from a nightfall, or a crucible match, but it's totally random, you could get it from going 0-99. So please take this whiny bullshit, and shove it up your ass. Bitch.

It can be tricky I know but when you earn something that is entirely different than your EBT card. the only earning of items will be exotic weapon bounties or rep grinding for gear.

I only have this to say. Gathering coins isn't really earning anything. I get that some people play legit, but there are far too many people afk'ing strikes and getting the rewards. A lot of blues (at least for me) turn into strange coins. Being afk and getting coins is not earning something, but someone who goes around killing stuff and gets lucky with a drop or completes a Nightfall or Raid, that in my opinion is earning it. It's all a matter of opinion. To those that actually run the strikes or farm blues and get the coins thats earning and props to you. But those people AFK'ing and being leechers are not earners, they are lazy -blam!-s.

I earn bad juju, thorn, invective, super Good advice and pocket infinity, waiting for others exotic bounties, they're very fun and the only challenge in the game (exception for the first time you do the raid, that's a challenge but only the first time next is repeated like th strikes)

I think the real point of this thread has nothing to do with exotics & everything to do with, you wanted an excuse to use the term "xurned". Thats just my opinion though. You can debate it if you feel the need.

Well I bought icebreaker, then "earned" it in nightfall. So does that mean u actually earned it more than someone getting it from a drop? Lawl Not to mention most of my exotics coming from nightfall. This thread is full of lawlz.

Technically the ONLY Exotics you can "earn", though some could argue getting the chance to receive the bounty itself is random, are: Thorn Invective Super Good Advice Bad Juju Pocket infinity Since these are the only Exotic bounties that you must complete to earn. You can also get these from RNG, but completing the bounty is actual earning. EVERYTHING else is random and you get lucky. If saying you "earned" through random drops, is like going to Vegas putting a dollar in the slot machine and hitting the jackpot on this first pull. Did you earn that jackpot or was it just random luck?
