Yes defence mode like in warframe, just add the warsat to its own map and let the waves of enemy's come, one for each type.

They could be missions given to you from the different factions with different tiers of starting difficulty like the strikes, hell add in a nightfall one also. Example : Nightfall Defence Mission. Location: Moon Enemy: Hive Mission: Dead Orbit has detected a warsat that will hit the moon some time in the next 7 days. Guardian we need the Intel inside this warsat to help finish our fleet. Defend it from the Hive at all cost. Mission Objective: Survive 20 waves of enemy's and kill the enemy commander. Reward: 500 Dead Orbit reputation Reward: Unknown.
