Exotic helmet engram
So, after waiting since I got the game, I finally got an exotic engram from Xur and I was so stoked, until I decoded it and it was a hunter helmet, while I am a Titan. This was really disappointing and I was wondering if something, if anything can be done about it. I don't want another Guardian grinding away to get an engram, only to have it be for another class.

All legendaries and exotic engrams say the samething. *random class* I've decided 2 exotic engrams and neither have been for my desired class. No big deal. Either break it down or use it. I made all 3 characters and glad I did. Each is fun to play although I usually stick with my warlock.

It says right there on the purchase screen!!!! Random helmet engram that means it is a randomly generated helmets between three diff classes how can you get mad dude it's like buying a scratch ticket and not winning so you complain about it all you can do is keep playing playa

Bungie, please make it more apparent to everyone that the engram (which says "Random Class" when you go to decrypt it), may not be for their current class. Thank you.

It's a slog and a little tedious but will be worth it in the end. Plus you'll only have to grind to lv20 and then will have full gear including exotics to move up the levels with. I'm currently working on a warlock as I started as a hunter. Annoyingly I now have 2 Titan exotics from Xur engrams but that just means I'll have options when I make a Titan.

I am a hunter, wanted an exotic helm but was not thrilled with mask of third man for coins. So I got the engram. Which decoded to... Mask of third man. I guess RNGesus was trying to tell me something.
