Whether people die everyday is irrelevant to this subject, my point is that someone willingly put someones life at risk, knowing the risks, would you do it? Because if you can say that you would, I think that you should look around. Predominantly at your moral compass.

Humans make mistakes, that goes for everyone. People have died because of this before, the risk is there, the Swat team were armed and were prepared for a threat, if they acted on impulse to something that was never a threat to begin with they could have seriously harmed or killed someone.

No we have Armed Response Teams which amount to the same thing and when the situation is too tough for them we have the SAS and we all know that they dont take prisoners.

Same here in Canada. The only threat there was that SWAT team. What a bunch of testosterone-driven apes with guns. Americans don't seem to realize that every other nations looks at them and are shaking their heads.

Did they shoot anyone? No? So they appropriately assessed the risks of the situation that presented itself? Sounds good enough to me. They went in there on the Intel that if they didn't, people were going to die.

That's a sad way to live your life. I had hoped we would evolve past mindless violence, we live in a society now where surviving does not depend on you causing harm to another human life for dominance, perhaps when we were cave men this was the case, but we have (mostly) ascended from this.

Mm your right I guess but im far from psychotic I just dont hold any value in human life and think of us as a plague. Check out ync should be an eye opener people are murded every minute. Child would not be quite so the step father wrapped a plastic bag around its head and put it in the dish washer. Alot of things out there that can make you feel empty inside.

Just because people are killed everyday doesn't make me think it's okay for these things to happen, if I could stop it all, somehow, I would. I know humans can be wicked and sadistic, that's why these things happen right now, but there are good people out there, people worth valuing. But to answer your latter question. If someone even laid a hand on my brothers with murderous intent I would break their neck without a thought.
