I will not apologize for all the flak that I or any of us have given them or this shell of what was supposed to be a great game. That being said, it is unfortunate that one of the developers was attacked. They don't deserve THAT kind of retaliation. Simply boycotting the sequel should do the trick for me.
Bungie really needs to reflect about this scenario though. When was the last time a game developer was attacked over a game not delivering on its promises? I mean even simple mechanics like the ability to go wherever you're looking at were left out. No one deserves to be attacked over something as silly as a video game, but Bungie is the first company I have ever heard of this happening too and that speaks volumes to me, and it should to you as well.

I agree though, they should evaluate this, but also realize-- a gaming company should never have to fear for their lives no matter what ends up happening. It's against the law, ya know? Either way, they should evaluate the hype they put into this game and the consequences hype + mot delivering. It can push people far, even though it shouldn't.

I'm not surprised, really. With this whole "gamergate" thing and all the hate for devs around the world going on, it was bound to happen at some point.

You have obviously never heard of call of duty.
