We all invested a lot of time into this game. Let's be honest. We are playing the same strikes over and over and over and over again. We are doing the same exact bounties every -blam!-ing day. We are playing the lackluster multiplayer that makes everyone feel cool and strong and has a terrible small amount of game modes and maps. Playing the same weekly shit over and over and over again hoping for exotics you will never get. Waiting for xur every -blam!-ing week and he ends up selling the same shit. Hoping for an update and it never comes. Getting excited from the weekly updates that is still to be yet put into the -blam!-ing game. And there is way more. Tell me, are you bored like me and is waiting for Black Friday or are you not bored and Is loving this game? If ur not bored and is enjoying the game, tell me why. I would very interested to hear your comment
Edit: -blam!- that said no explain why
Edit: thanks for 1 thousand replies. Hopefully bungie looks at this and see what people feel about the game

Unless i play with friends, this game is boring as hell. I don't even have the motivation to max out my vanguard and crucible marks anymore. Its begs the question of why is there a limit in the first place. I have to wait two weeks to buy a gun and another two weeks to buy a helmet. Pvp is just garbage. The only people who find it fun wield shotguns and fusion rifles. And if they are not using shotguns or fusion rifles, they are using suros. And Bungie seems deadset on shoving pvp down our throats Because it seems like you have to play pvp to get any sort of gear or weapons from most of the factions.

Yes I am I hate how LUCK decides how quickly you get to level 30... • 4 game modes for PVP • Sick of the Raid • Lag makes the Raid impossible on hard • I've done way too many Strikes Honestly COD and Warframe take care of me though.
-
I would enjoy it far more if the pvp experience was better. The times I can play aren't aligned with those I could play with so all I really do is pvp. And it gets old. The game is great when I can not play solo, but just drains when I have to. Not to be one of "those guys" but I can't wait till this weekend to pick up cod to have a pick up and put down shooter again.

A little. There's something about this game that keeps pulling me back to it.
-
Not bored. Love it. Played 6.5 days total.

Nope. I'm very aware of my nature of binging. When something new comes out that I enjoy, I binge until it gets stale. Then my attention gets taken away back to something else I was focusing on and eventually circles around back to what I binged on. In this case, Destiny has been a big thing in my life and managed to eat two months worth of my time. That's pretty damn good and pretty common for new games I enjoy. I hit it hard and ignore everything else until I've gotten my fill and then relax. I go enjoy other things and let the stale experience marinate and reflect on it. I'm just now starting to work through my Steam Summer Sale backlog and now playing through both Darksiders while I let Destiny cool down a little. By the time it's cool the DLC will have dropped and I'll spin it back up again. The key enjoying things in a long run is moderation. People hit stuff hard. Too hard in fact. They rush and race to get though it all to experience it all only to get to the end and realized they missed everything and experienced nothing in their haste to finish. Every time I've replayed a mission, I've slowed down more to identify trouble spots, areas where I know have trouble surviving and learn to manage them. I pause to actually reflect on the half chatter Ghost is muttering and look for new details from cutscenes. I solve more of the mystery with each replay. I already know when, where, and what the spawns are and the fastest way to destroy them. So I come up with new ways to experiment on killing. I also take the time to examine the dark corners of the maps and just pause to take in the details. And if I can help it, never run group content with the same group twice. Forces me to adapt to new tactics to make up the gaps.

Yeah but I still find myself playing everyday :(
-
i've been enjoying project spark even more. destiny is just meh. i check the bungie.net hopeing for something new but ehhhh nothing.
-
Nope. Almost have all guns and maxed. Almost all level 30s. Still plenty of fun!
-
need more raid gear.
-
Nope love the game
-
Yes. but it's toooo addicting!
-
I'm having a blast

I had maxed out 3 warlocks to grind the weekly's 3 times a week and raid a lot. Helping people through. I've deleted my extra 2 warlocks and made a hunter and Titan. Hunter is now level 27 with full gunslinger working on blade dancer and getting better gear on that til I work on my Titan all while trying to level up dead orbit to get a revenant shader. Also working on my hard light and just having fun helping people raid and what not. The fun here is in the public interactions. Doing the same thing every day for yourself gets boring but if you help others do the stuff they haven't done it becomes fun again. Also branching out and doing the other classes offers some change. I have still yet to attempt a flawless raid even though I have about 79 raid clears.
-
I will admit I'm not giving much as much enthusiasm as I did on launch day. To counter the bordem, I just set goals for myself. Power level a gun or armor Collect exotics Run the raid Setting goals really helps against boredom
-
Tl;dr. No
-
Sparrow (Dancing) Stunt Surfing keeps the game fun... there's nothing like showing up to a Public Event in STYLE!!! A Busty Double Corkscrew w/a naded dismount just SCREAMS "Here I come to save the day!".

I am bored as hell but i'll manage untill the dlc my major concern about the game itself is the piss poor release of patches that are ment to fix the gameplay. Just take VoG atheon is broken as -blam!- normalmode he usually goes down either way becuse of the lesser healthpool and weaker adds but on hard its fools luck to kill him and still so many weeks later not even a note from Deej sure as hell they are aware of it. Now i can live with the current content its not like i play the game 6 hours a day anymore but if they cant fix the old content then how the -blam!- is the next one gonna be like?

Its repeterive, but it does keep enjoying me

Edited by fordfff: 11/9/2014 9:40:31 AMBored? Not at all. I just like to try and level up the different guns. It's great to blast my way through on strikes with a new gun. My only problem is mats farming. I hate that running around for hours. Edit: i'mbusually bored with a game after 10-15 hours. I have like 160 in destiny
-
Not even a little bit.
-
Edited by Fixit: 11/9/2014 9:39:20 AMYeah its becoming harder and harder to play destiny and i don't think the new DLC is gonna keep me interested for long. Its mainly the PVP fault, theres needs to be some sort of ranking system, playing it for the sake of playing it is just boring as hell and crucible ranks and marks have nothing special.
-
Bored of the same old strikes and bounties, still alright with crucible, raid is still fun only with my usual raid group. But there's nothing else worth playing yet, so I'm still mindlessly playing.
